Ismaël is an Intellectual Property (IP) Lawyer (Quebec Bar) and a registered Trademark Agent with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO). His practice encompasses all aspects of IP: trademarks, copyright, patents, industrial designs, and trade secrets.
His extensive expertise allows him to accomplish a large variety of mandates: filing and prosecution of applications, portfolio management, litigation and disputes, commercial contracts and licensing, regulatory matters, and strategic transactional advice.

In parallel to his practice, Ismaël has been involved in the field of IP over the years: administrator at FORPIQ (International Forum on Intellectual Property), lecturer at Polytechnique Montréal (Internet and civil liability) and CENTECH, writer in peer-reviewed publications and specialized magazines, speaker, coach, and mentor. His community involvement has also led Ismaël to be director of strategic partnerships for REPAF (Réseau des entrepreneurs et professionnels africains) and a member of the board of directors of Parasports Québec.
This involvement earned him the “Young Leader” award in the ESTim2021 gala of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Montreal (CCEM), as well as the title of “Emerging Governor” (Quebec Bar Foundation, 2020-2023).
Ismaël is also a Recognized Canadian IP Lawyer with the Canadian International Internet Dispute Resolution Centre (CIIDRC).
