Hilal is a lawyer specializing in intellectual property law. He represents his clients before all the courts of first instance and appeal, in the context of disputes relating to patents, trademarks, copyright, industrial design, in matters of unfair competition and in entertainment law.
His experience spans a wide range of industries including pharmaceuticals and life sciences, information technology, mechanics, chemical and electrical. Hilal holds a B.Sc (physiology) which is an undeniable advantage, allowing him to grasp technical and complex issues, while having a strategic approach that takes into account the business reality of his clients.
He also acts as counsel in commercial transactions with a significant IP component: technology transfer, distribution, research and development agreements (software, clinical research, etc.), SAAS, artificial intelligence (IA) as well as joint-venture agreements.
Hilal is also a trademark agent and manages international trademark portfolios. He brings his litigation skills to trademark opposition proceedings.
After having practiced for 12 years in an international firm, including three years as a partner, Me El Ayoubi founded a firm specializing in the field of intellectual property.
