Albert is a licensed lawyer in the province of Ontario since 2012 and a member of the the Québec Bar (c.j.c) since 2020, and registered trademark agent in Canada since 2013.

Since his call to the bar in the province of Ontario, Albert works exclusively in intellectual property matters and provides a full spectrum of intellectual property law services in English, French and Spanish. Albert also advises clients in corporate and business law matters, and represents clients in litigation matters, in particular at the appellate level.

Albert graduated with a dual degree in common law (J.D.) and civil law (LL.B.) from Queen’s University and Université de Sherbrooke in 2010.  During his last year of law school, Albert concurrently pursued a specialization in health technology assessment and management (H.T.A. & M.). After having successfully completed the international program in four different cities; Barcelona, Rome, Montréal and Toronto, Albert was granted a M.Sc. degree in health technology assessment from Université de Montréal in 2012.

Prior to his legal studies, Albert graduated from Université de Montréal in 2006 with a B.Sc. in biomedical sciences. During his undergraduate studies, Albert performed research in the Departments of Pharmacology and Biochemistry, where he studied the effects of reactive oxygen species (ROS) on the catalytic activity of the hepatic cytochrome P450 and participated in a high-throughput screening project for protein-protein interactions in a yeast model by using Protein-fragment complementation assay.
